Amanda Poulton has been creating stories since she was a little girl; she would often entertain her friends with scary ghost stories at sleepovers, and wrote many short stories based on her (rather short), lived experience.

She studied High School in Thailand in 1994, going on to finish school and advancing to University where she studied Literature, Philosophy and Theology.

After this, Amanda joined the Australian Regular Army as an Electronic Warfare Operator.  Upon leaving the Army, Amanda returned to University to study Journalism.

She is currently studying a double major in Archaeology and Creative Writing.

Amanda lives on the sunny Gold Coast, Australia, with her two Cocker Spaniels, and spends her days reading, writing and studying.
